We’ve heard this saying before, but what does it really mean? This phrase is the backbone of VAIN Academy. It means valuing people and relationships more than gaining all the customers or business you can. It means being kind to others in our industry or outside of it. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint.” The race is actually only a small part of the entire process. It is the training before that you put in and the plan after that you follow that really counts. Oftentimes we make a plan and then roadblocks happen, or our mind/body becomes weary and we get burnt out. We tend to think “if I could just get 10 more patients a week I will be happy, if I could make ‘x’ amount a year I’ll be happy, if only I had ‘x’ many followers on Instagram I’ll be happy. At VAIN Academy we teach how to have a road map and set goals. It is the consistent small steps that add up over time to the bigger picture and at VA; we know that firsthand.
BE BOLD, BE YOU
No one that is YOU and that is YOUR power. In an industry that is fast-paced, competitive, and redundant, it is important to remain true to yourself. Be your authentic self and there is no competition. It may seem that you are not doing enough, busy enough or popular enough but in order to remain true to yourself it is important to keep in mind that you can have everything just not all at once. At VAIN Academy we will teach you the tools necessary to keep your head in the game for the long haul.

If you’ve ever written down your goals you may have thought to yourself “wow this one is so crazy but whatever I’m going to write it down.” Then in a year you look back and you think “Wow, I did that!” Or if you have ever told someone your dreams and they listed off the ‘what if’s’ but then when you accomplish said dream, they ask you ‘how did you do it?’ At VAIN Academy there is no such thing as a crazy idea or a goal too outlandish. We empower students to believe all the reasons why their plans can happen, not all the reasons why they can’t.

Hustle. Grind. Execute. Have the hustle to pursue your dreams and let nothing stop you. Grind day in and day out. Do all the necessary repetitive steps to move yourself forward. Do what no one else wants to do. Have the courage to execute. Realize things will never be perfect and you just have to go for it.
