At VA, we require a current medical license in good standing, proof of medical malpractice insurance, copy of your license and any certificates that you may hold. We will ask that you sign an injector agreement and a collaboration agreement with the medical directors at VAIN Academy.
Yes, classes are offered virtually and in-person. The hands-on portion required for each class will always be held in-person.
For orders placed by noon time on Tuesday, there will be a Wednesday pick up available. For orders placed by noon time on Thursday, there will be a Friday pick up. Emergency orders are processed on a case-by-case basis.
You can keep them as long as your medical directorship is up to date.
After you take the didactical portion of Intro to Neurotoxin, you will be required to participate in a ‘hands-on’ training with live models. Once this is completed and you are signed off, we will complete your onboarding process which will ensure you have proper medical coverage, medical directorship and agreements in place. An estimate of time to expect is 2-3 weeks from hands-on sign-off.
In cases of complications the first step would be to contact your medical director immediately. VA offers a 24/7 on-call complication response team (CRT) for in-network members. The team is composed of VA providers that have volunteered to help in case of emergencies.
In some states such as MA, NH and ME a Nurse Practitioner can practice autonomously and therefore can serve as a medical director. At VA we have a supervising physician on staff as well.
We suggest you start with signing up for a core class- Introduction to Neurotoxin. This will give you a good insight into the aesthetic world and an idea of what’s to come!
We recommend you then proceed with Introduction to Dermal Filler and then Introduction to Lip Filler.

Zenoti software in the documentation company that Vain Academy works with. Each member will receive their own username/login. Your patients and schedule will only be visible to the user that is logged in. All documentation records and consent forms are included. It is included in the pricing for Advanced and Mastery Memberships.
